History


			The history of bfl Feinstanzteile GmbH already begins before the actual founding of the company in 1992. Founder Birgit Franke, whose initials gave the company its name, acquired sector-specific know-how as an industrial agent for braking accessories. With the purchase of the company GR Feinstanzteile GmbH in Opladen, she changed position from sales to production as managing partner, together with her associate Petra Böke. In 1993, Klaus Hesse took over the technical management, and since 2000, Axel Altena has been responsible for corporate development. At first, the bfl team included eight employees. Today's staff has been increased to 34 persons thanks to the expansion of the customer base and the product range as well as through investments and commitment. The decision for a representative new building was made at the end of 2001, when the existing facilities became too small. In 2002, the foundation stone for the building was laid in the industrial area Hückeswagen. Its completion took only seven months. The relocation was carried out within one week, in which the production could be continued seamlessly without delivery failures. From the beginning, we have been focusing our work on optimal quality and transparency. Today, bfl supplies renowned companies from highly different industries with high-grade components.
